The REAL Krusty the Clown
A piece I just finished for the Simpsons art show on Sep 25th at Meltdown comics in LA.
As an animator on the show for roughly ten years ( starting in 1995), I was always very drawn to this character and jumped at any chance I could to animate him. The mixture of his insanity and moodiness was appealing to me, damn it was so much fun drawing him in those mental states. Eventually people started calling me 'the Krusty Guy' haha!
So this is my homage to him. This is how I've always seen this character in real life. A gritty, angry, sad, confused, terrifying wretch of a character, who's job it is entertaining children. So yeah, I'm thankful he's not REALLY real
Made using Photoshop( painting and photo textures) and Zbrush ( initial head sculpting and hair).

Hey Alex, you're on the right track I think, but could you add some white makeup and render it all in colour, accordingly? That, and do you have any more work like that for other characters?
