This image was done recently for a visual fx company. At this point it's not a true matte painting, more of a matte concept sketch because of the many looser areas. But it gets the point across of what the client wanted. I've also been playing Skyrim lately, so I think that influenced it;)...especially the title!

Done entirely in Photoshop in about three days using matte painting and concept art techniques.

I have actually purchased some you your tutorials and they are pretty good. I always wanted my vision to be put on paper. What program did you use for the tutorials and your art work? Adobe Photoshop cs5 or cs6? I dont have much money and was hoping you used the older one.

Thanks for buying the videos! I use Photoshop cs5 now, though much of my art was created on cs3. I use Screenflow for the tutorials.

I just downloaded cs2. Will that do what I want in creating crisp detailed work? I am a beginner of the extreme. I don't know anything but I am passionate in my en devour and I have an imagination that I want everyone to see. Is there anyway you could post something on basics light creating a single light house or castle? It would be great just so I can get a start.
