Now, this is in no way putting down LAPD...it's just I'm from LA, and we happen to have some badass cops here:D
The drawing for this one I did about four years ago, and always attempted to paint it, but was never happy with it...until now!
Oh, one last thing....you'll probably never see me use a lens flare again, it's a big no-no in the illustration field! But I really wanted this to have a film still look, so there.:)

...think i would've enjoyed this one in a more cooler palette, nevertheless, it's a fav.

Ahah! Great stuff man, even with the lens flares. If you do like lens flares though, something I've seen done before a few times is people will actually paint in the lens flare. It adds the flare look while keeping it painterly... if I come across a good example again sometime, I'll send a link your way, but I've seen it done before and it looked really good.

Very nice man! I could see this guy as some sort of sadistic cop that walks the line of Law maker and criminal! Like a cosmic Training Day or something! LOL!
