I started this piece a while ago, taking an photo of the Sphynx and pyramids and working around that. So I guess it could be considered a matte painting as well.

The idea here is that as time goes on and technology advances, hopefully mankind is still respectful of these ancient wonders, preserving them by not destroying them but working around them!

although your picture is just amazing.. dont you think that in that far in the future Egyptians would have found a way to make their land lush and fertile (not just by the Nile). or do you think there building those floating machines because humanity F***ed everything on the planet up.
